TRACEY, Dental Assistant (EFDA)

A 1986 graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, Tracey pursued a career in dental assisting receiving her education at Luzerne County Community College. She received a Certificate of Specialization in Dental Assisting in 1987 and started with our practice immediately. She is an assistant to all of the doctors and has been a loyal employee for 22 years. Tracey has passed the state-mandated exam and is licensed as an expanded functions dental assistant (EFDA) for the state of Pennsylvania.

Tracey is also responsible for many duties including the preparation of models for the dental lab and the construction of a variety of custom trays and appliances used in cosmetic and orthodontic cases. For many years she was one of only two staff members who were the friendly voices taking emergency calls - days, nights or weekends - to ensure that our patients would receive the care they needed.

Outside of dentistry, I enjoy the simple pleasures of life, spending time with my husband, our cats, family and friends.
